How does the
the live painting work?
First of all, congratulations on your engagement!
You are about to build a wonderful chapter of your life and I will be honored to be a part of your big day. I have detailed the live wedding painting process below. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Before the wedding
1. Check the availability of your wedding date by sending me a request with the form at the bottom of the page.
2. Secure your appointment with a 20% deposit and a contract.
3. Appointment: 4-6 weeks before your wedding, we will have an online appointment to design your artwork. We will discuss the moment you wish me to represent, the first look, the throwing of petals after your ceremony, the first dance... and also the people, the colors and everything that is important to you on your wedding day.

Wedding day
1. Surprise your guests. I will arrive 1 hour before the start of the ceremony to set up the easel. When the guests arrive, I'll do some mood sketches.
2. During the chosen scene (e.g. first kiss, ceremonial exit, first dance), I will take photos to use as a reference for the painting.
3. Once I have captured the moment, I paint you on the canvas. Your guests will be able to follow the evolution of the painting as the day unfolds. They will be part of this special memory.
4. By the end of the evening your painting will look almost complete and I will pick you up to show you your painting before I leave. If your photographer is still present, I will notify him so that he can take a picture of you with your beautiful new painting.

After the wedding
1. After the big day, I'll bring your painting back to the studio to add the final details in oil (up to 15 hours of touch-ups) and varnish. Colors and details are deepened to create a cohesive composition with particular emphasis on the married couple.
2. Before varnishing your new painting, I will send you a photo to ensure that I have your final approval.

Hang a treasure that crosses time
Once the drying time has been completed, I will send your canvas to you in a protected and insured package. Shipping is included for Belgium, France and Luxembourg.
At the reception, your canvas is ready to be hung and to illuminate the atmosphere of your newlywed home!

You choose what you want to paint and I bring the artistry, from selecting a harmonious composition to capturing the mood and light. All paintings come with a full live painting session at the wedding and dedicated studio time after the event. In the studio, the raw expression of live painting is detailed, giving it special attention and a touch of magic in the transcription of your love that will make it priceless.

I sketch the portrait of your guests during the reception and they leave with a memory of your beautiful day. I photograph the sketches before they are taken away and I send you the pictures after the event so that you also keep a beautiful memory.

About
I am Géraldine Scudetti, painter since always I am also a former architect and yoga teacher. I am passionate about human beings and the ties that bind us together. The bond in my life is that I want people to feel good. The art has the power to gather and to bring joy.
I live in the beautiful nature of Gaume, where I feel at home and I regularly return to Brussels, the city that saw me grow up. I am obviously passionate about art but also about spirituality and the big questions of life that remain unanswered.
I did My first live painting in 2022 and I fell in love with it. Celebrating a wonderful day where everyone is happy to be there is a real happiness for an artist who loves people.

Can we book a live painting as a surprise for the bride and groom?
Yes, it is possible for family and friends to offer this beautiful gift as a surprise.
Can we pay in several installments?
Yes of course, the 20% deposit is used to reserve your date and then it is possible to make monthly or quarterly payments until your wedding.
